 Equessories®
was started by Nancy Spaulding who is an avid equine admirer
and recreational rider. (She began her “career”
when she was eight, learning to sew on her great-grandmother's
treadle machine.)
Nancy, who has a background in fashion accessory design and
manufacturing, as well as a love of textiles and art, decided
to create a line of high quality, fashionably functional accessories
— for the equine enthusiast — both in and out of
the barn.
She designed and manufactured products for the equine industry
for over 10 years and has had her products featured in such
catalogues as Back in the Saddle, Dover Saddlery, State Line
Tack, Harness Racing Museum, to name a few.
The goal
for the line is to create beautifully crafted, unique, customizable
products for the equestrian lifestyle. (We also felt it was
important to keep as many of our products “Made in the
USA”; our effort to keep the American textile industry
alive.)
We are
always interested in hearing from horse
